For a wedding, on-site is almost always right — the morning is already full without adding a drive. For a trial, or a single evening appointment, either works and the choice is yours.

Allow an hour per person of actual working time. Book the appointment to finish thirty minutes before you need to leave, not at the moment you need to leave.
