Makeup artist in Kakheti
Kakheti is Georgia's wine region and the main destination for autumn weddings. We work in Telavi, Sighnaghi, Kvareli and at wineries across the region — with one technical difference that sets Kakheti apart: most ceremonies here happen outdoors.

Harvest season and dates
September and October are the grape harvest in Kakheti. It is the region at its best and consequently its busiest: the wineries host weddings through those months.
The practical consequence is that Saturdays in September and October frequently close six months ahead. That applies to venues, photographers and makeup alike.
Sighnaghi
Sighnaghi is one of Kakheti's most popular ceremony destinations and sits about 110 km from Tbilisi.
Some ceremonies there are small and short; others are a full Georgian wedding. Those are two entirely different technical problems — a two-hour event and a twelve-hour day need different bases, and confusing them is how makeup fails.
Outdoor ceremonies
Most Kakheti ceremonies happen in a vineyard, a courtyard or on a terrace. That adds three factors an indoor ceremony does not have.
- Sun during the day — a base with SPF behaves differently and often reads lighter under flash
- A temperature drop in the evening — in autumn Kakheti the difference is large
- Wind in open ground — it moves hair and makeup at once
- Dust in a vineyard — particularly during the harvest
Logistics across the region
Kakheti is geographically large and the distances inside it matter: Telavi is 90 km from Tbilisi, Sighnaghi 110, Kvareli further still.
So we need the exact location when you book rather than just "Kakheti". It decides whether we arrive the day before or that morning, and what the travel costs.
Price and booking
Makeup starts at 150 GEL. Travel is calculated for the specific location and, where needed, includes an overnight stay.
Send the date, the exact location, the ceremony hour and the number of people. On a group booking the travel cost is shared, which in Kakheti frequently makes a real difference.
Frequently asked questions
- Which parts of Kakheti do you cover?
- Telavi, Sighnaghi, Kvareli and wineries across the region. We need the exact location when booking — distances inside the region vary considerably.
- Are dates available during harvest season?
- Saturdays in September and October frequently close six months ahead. If you need that period, write as early as you can.
- What changes for a vineyard ceremony?
- Sun, wind, dust and the evening temperature drop. All four affect the base, which is why an outdoor ceremony has to be known in advance.
- Is an overnight stay needed?
- It depends on the location and the ceremony hour. For a morning ceremony in Telavi, often yes; for an afternoon one, usually not.
