Makeup artist in Kutaisi
Kutaisi is roughly 230 km from Tbilisi — up to three hours by motorway. It is the distance where a single-day trip still works if the event is afternoon or later; for a morning ceremony the artist arrives the day before.

Distance and how the day divides
230 km by motorway takes up to three hours. If you need to be ready by ten in the morning, that means leaving at five — technically possible, and it costs something in quality.
So the practical line is this: for an afternoon ceremony we travel that morning; for a morning one we arrive the day before. We make that call together when you book.
The airport changes the logistics
Kutaisi has an international airport, and it is the cheap way into Georgia for much of Europe. That changes the shape of events here: a proportion of guests fly into Kutaisi rather than Tbilisi.
In practice that means more hotel appointments for people arriving from abroad — often with a day or less to settle in. We work in English and Russian as well as Georgian, so nothing about that is complicated.
Imereti venues
Kutaisi is the centre of the Imereti region, and we work from there across it. Historic sites such as Bagrati Cathedral and Gelati Monastery are used for ceremonies.
For a ceremony inside a historic church one technical detail matters: the light is dim and warm, and a light application barely registers in photographs. So the same restrained style has to be executed more definitely.
Group bookings
In Kutaisi, as in the other travel destinations, group bookings are more common — the travel cost is shared across several people.
If there are several of you, send how many and who also needs hair. We send a schedule in advance, with an hour for each person.
Price and booking
Makeup starts at 150 GEL. Travel is calculated separately by distance and quoted before you book.
Send the date, the hour of the ceremony or event and the number of people. You get back a single figure with travel included.

- Yes, and it is common here. Appointments run in English, Georgian or Russian, so arriving without any Georgian changes nothing.
