Makeup is not a fixed sequence of products. The same face has to be built differently for a daytime shoot, an evening event and a wedding, because lighting, duration and the camera each place different demands on it.

So every appointment starts with questions rather than brushes. What is the occasion, what are you wearing, where will you be and in what light, and how long does this need to hold? Everything else is built on those answers.

Teaching follows the same logic. A course here is not about reproducing one correct look — it is about learning how to make the decision for a particular face, a particular light and a particular occasion.

MoodRoom does three things. First, makeup appointments that travel to you: daytime, evening, photoshoot and bridal, starting at 150 GEL. Second, work outside Tbilisi — Batumi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Gori, Zugdidi, Telavi and Mtskheta. Third, teaching.

Teaching splits into two separate products. The self-paced course is for people who want to do their own makeup, where success means repeating the same quality on your own on an ordinary morning. The professional course prepares people to work as artists: different face types, hygiene, tools, talking to clients, and building a portfolio.

The three lines feed each other. Teaching forces every decision to be explainable, and that explanation is exactly what comes back to the client during an appointment.

A detailed biography, training background and portfolio are being prepared. Rather than publish a placeholder, this section stays empty until that information is confirmed.

Prices are quoted in advance. Travel costs are known before you confirm, and nothing is added after the appointment.

The result is checked in two lighting conditions, natural and artificial, before the appointment ends. Anything you want changed is corrected on the spot.

Products and tools are professional and ours. For sensitive skin, products are selected in advance.

During an appointment we say what we are doing and why. If you want to repeat a step at home, we will tell you how — none of it is a trade secret.
